The Mission of the Nebraska Real Property Appraiser Board is to administer and enforce the Nebraska Real Property Appraiser Act and Nebraska Appraisal Management Company Registration Act with efficiency, equity, and integrity to ensure that the citizens of Nebraska are protected and served, and that the appraisal services community is highly qualified through education, experience, and examination.
The Nebraska Real Property Appraiser Board's vision is to provide leadership for the appraisal industry in the State of Nebraska. The Board will generate interest by promoting the appraiser profession, building positive public awareness of the industry throughout the State, and identifying and resolving issues faced by the public and appraisal services community. The Nebraska Real Property Appraiser Board will also establish and maintain standards for appraisers and appraisal management companies that lays the foundation for a highly qualified, motivated, dependable, and ethical appraisal services community in Nebraska.
Board Meeting Information:
The Nebraska Real Property Appraiser Board meets once a month, typically the third Thursday of each month. A notice containing the time, date, and location of the meeting will be posted on this webpage a week prior to the meeting each month.
To Appear Before The Board
If there is anything that you would like to address with the Board, you can speak during the public comment section of the meeting, or make a formal request to the Director of the Nebraska Real Property Appraiser Board to be placed on the agenda. If your formal request is approved, you will be given a specific time to appear before the Board. Please make your formal request prior to 5 p.m. on Friday, two weeks before the scheduled meeting (e.g. for the Thursday, April 18, 2013 meeting, please have documentation to the Board's office by 5 p.m. on Friday, April 5, 2013).

If you are submitting documentation for the Board to consider at its next meeting, voluntarily or at the Board's request, please have this documentation to the Board's office by 5 p.m. on Friday, two weeks before the scheduled meeting (e.g. for the Thursday, April 18, 2013 meeting, please have documentation to the Board's office by 5 p.m. on Friday, April 5, 2013). Documentation submitted for consideration will be presented to the Board at the Director's discretion.
Issues discussed by the Board directly impact all aspects of the appraiser profession. The Board encourages anyone interested in the Board's business to attend the meetings. You will find the meetings to be both interesting and informative. It may also lead you down a path to public service.

PUBLIC MEETING NOTICE
The Nebraska Real Property Appraiser Board will meet at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 20, 2014 in Conference Room “F” on the Lower Level in the Nebraska State Office Building located at 301 Centennial Mall South, Lincoln, Nebraska.
The agenda will be made available at least 24 hours prior to the start of the meeting. The Public may inspect the agenda at the Appraiser Board, Nebraska State Office Building, Lower Level, 301 Centennial Mall, Lincoln, Nebraska, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., or on this web site at www.appraiser.ne.gov once available. Individuals requiring auxiliary aids may call 471-9015 or write to the Board.
